Our second year has past and the judges votes have been collated and counted. Before we go any further though I would firstly like to say another big thank you to them all for taking the time out of their busy lives and writing schedules to read the shortlisted stories. The feedback has been great and I’m really looking forward to hearing the winning stories brought to audio-life by this year’s voiceover artists.
And so without further ado here are the three winners for Remastered Words 2017 Audio Anthology.
1) The Phone by Stephen Frame
2) After the Gruffs by Taria Karillion
3) Agency by Stephanie Hutton
Congratulations to the winners and well done to our two runners up, Taria Karillion with The Fate of the Final Dragon and Rosalyn Kelly with Daisy, Daisy. The next step in the process is to forward the stories to our editor Stephanie Dagg, prior to them being sent to our voiceovers to work their magic. In addition to the three fantastic stories above, also included in this year’s anthology will be an amazing short story by Mark Lawrence called ‘The Dream-Taker’s Apprentice’, which appeared in the Fantasy Faction anthology that was released in 2014. This tale was a big favourite with readers and I can’t wait to hear it in all of its glory.
Thank you to everyone for your support and please continue to enjoy the website and make sure you keep an eye out for news on the upcoming anthology production.
